Senior Software Engineer
Location: Shanghai – China

Position Overview

Autodesk seeks anexperienced software development engineer to help Autodesk　
users imagine anddesign a better world by contributing to development of　
Autodesk Revit- theworld-leading Building Information Modeling (BIM)　
software.　Our software is used by 100,000+ architects,engineers, and other　
building industry professionals to design everything fromthe world’s　
tallest skyscrapers, largest airports, and new landmarks to homesand　
businesses that you visit every day.

Revit’s engineering teambrings intelligence and efficiency to the building　
design and developmentprocess by solving complex software problems. You will　
be an important member of the product team building new Revitfeatures. You　
will be a member of a scrum team consisting of Software Engineers(Dev), User　
Experience Designers (UX), and Quality Assurance Engineers (QA).
　
Responsibilities

Design, prototype, implement and test features according toproduct　
specifications

Ensure UI implementation meets visual design requirements inRevit product
Design, re-factor and optimize source code with object-orienteddevelopment　
and code reusability

Estimate tasks for projects undertaken and ensure completion ontime
Ensure code quality with peer code-reviews and implement unittesting
Co-work with the scrum team members to accomplish requirementsfrom product　
manager and customers

Communicate with product owner, user experience designer, etc.to understand　
customer requirements

Collaborate with testing engineer and/or domain expert to designand apply　
specific, more comprehensive testing plan

Communicate with customers to understand issues/concerns andprovide　
technical solutions to resolve customer issues

Collaborate with global stakeholders on technical strategy,issue solving and　
dependency coordination. This position may involve quarterlyor monthly late-
night meetings

Minimum Qualifications

BS or MS in computer science or a related area
5+ years hands-on experience in software product development
Solid C++ programming skills
Solid C#/.NET programming skills
Expertise in MFC/WPF
Excellent written and verbal English skills
Good communication and teamwork
Flexibility under changing conditions and ability to multi-taskbetween　
projects
　
Preferred Qualifications

Technical experience in graphic/visualization area is a plus
Experience of Addon development on Revit or other CAD product isa plus
Experience in fast-pace product delivery and agile practices isa plus

Good teamwork spirit in a dynamic environment
Fluent English (written & oral) and proactivecommunication skills
　
PreferredQualifications

Experience in fast-pace product delivery and agilepractices is a plus
Knowledge on AEC domain, AEC related productexperience is a plus
